• Hardwired or Wireless?

With today’s technology wireless and hardwired systems are as reliable as can be. With the hardwired system, the equipment is a little less expensive but it takes more time to install it. With wireless, the devices cost a little more, but it installs a lot faster and easier. In the end, it averages to be about the same cost wise. The advantage of the hardwired system over a wireless system is that it doesn’t have any batteries to replace, therefore requires less maintenance. We recommend going with a hardwired system, but if it’s impossible to run wires to the devices, then a wireless system is still very effective.
